Produce a consistent high quality finish with Alpha Precision Abrasive's line of Micro Finishing Cloth. In order to achieve an imperfection free surface gradually sand your project producing a smooth even surface. The next step is to progress from coarse to fine micro grits in order to remove blemishes and scratches left behind from your initial sanding. Alphas Micro Finishing products are ideal for creating or restoring high gloss finishes. This product produces spectacular finishes on glass, metal, plastic and wooden surfaces. Micro Finishing Cloth is available in 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000 Grits.

Micro finishing products are not intended for heavy removal, rather, this product helps obtain a professional final finish. When more aggressive sanding is required to remove scratches and defects, Professional Sanding Film #0201 is recommended before using Micro Finishing Cloth products. 

#2000 Micro Finishing Cloth Abrasive Pads 2" x 2"

Double sided abrasive laminated to a resilient foam core conforms easily to curved surfaces. Convenient 2” X 2” size pads are printed with the grit number for easy identification. When used dry, micro cloth outlasts common abrasives up to 7 times, when used wet micro cloth outlasts up to 10 times. Alpha's Micro Finishing Cloth Pads and sheets are waterproof and reusable!

#2050 & #2050A Micro Finishing Cloth Abrasive 3" x 4" Sheets 

The 3” X 4” sheet size provides a large working surface and extended product life. Alpha's formulation gives superior water resistance, softer cushion coating, and greater flexibility. Micro Finishing Cloth is made with a special cushion layer that allows the abrasive crystals to float, allowing abrasives to produce a finer more consistent pattern. Our colour coded back printing also makes easy grit identification possible, now you know exactly which grit you are using! Micro Finishing Cloth can be used wet or dry, for best results a light mist of water containing a drop of dish detergent for lubrication is recommended.  This product is ideal for removing “orange peel” from painted surfaces, polishing metal, wood, and plastic projects.

#3000 Micro Finishing Cloth Abrasive 2" x 8" Sheets 

This Micro Finishing kit includes our unique foam sanding block. This foam block has two different density foams laminated to a resilient foam core. For curved and delicate areas, use the soft foam side and for areas that require more aggressive action, select the medium density side.
